Tihomir has been involved in planning and climbing since 1994 and has built a name for an extremely complex professional in the field of sport climbing, mountaineering and planning. An important aspect of his work is the daily contact with people. As a teacher, Tihomir trains young sports enthusiasts who learn the basics of climbing and mountaineering from him. It also trains future specialists in the field of alternative tourism. Over 300 students and 20 candidate mountain guides are trained there annually.
He was born in 1983 in the city of Pleven. He started climbing at the age of 12. He graduated from NSA "Vasil Levski" - a master's degree in "Sports Animation" and a bachelor's degree in "Mountaineering Coach". Defended doctorate on the topic: "Sport climbing in higher education as a means to improve their performance."
Lecturer in climbing, tourism and skiing at the Department of Sports at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski ”. Honored lecturer in climbing at the Department of Business and Sports at UNWE.
Instructor in climbing and mountaineering at the Association "Mountains and People", rescuer in the Mountain Rescue Service, mountain guide in the Bulgarian mountains, as well as in the Alps, Andes, Carpathians, Tatras, Pyrenees, Turkish mountains and the Middle East.
